Last Day of School!

Well, tomorrow is the last day of school! Its been a great freshman year in high school with crappy teachers who've tried to lower my grades and I can't wait to finish the year off!I've got 2 finals left for tomorrow and after that one of ym friends and I are going to see the Matrix. I haven't seen it yhet because I wanted to wait till the last day of school to see it with my friend.
 
no more homework
no more school
no more teachers stupid rules
when the principal rings the bell
we'll drop our books and run like hell.
 
My last day of school is June 11th. 🙂 Going bowling right after we get out. (11:00 AM)

Maya 5 presentation the day after that. This summer should be pretty decent.

What do you mean by basic camp?

I'm spending the first half taking etymology and driver's ed followed by working at rolls royce, hopefully 🙂

Theres also some vacation my parents have planned somewhere in there.... I can't wait! Now all I have to do is study for like 4 more hours and thats it!

If you miss the first two years of ROTC (by not being in the program), you have to do what they call "basic camp" to catch up. It is 5 weeks long (or 6.... I can never remember), and is sort of like Basic Training-Lite version I guess.

I remember those days..... graduated from college, you have a long way to go 🙂 ENJOY THOSE HIGHSCHOOL DAYS!

Heh, what's to enjoy? I know I know, we have a roof over our head, food on the table, etc. We appreciate that, we really do. But we also work longer days than most adults (you can fight that statement all you want, but I'm sticking by it), and let's face it-being a teenager kinda sucks psychologically.

Very true. Also count time for homework and studying. Pshycologically, the toughest was in middle school, and has gotten a lot better. I just wanna have an easier life sometimes because I mean I come home every day and do nothing but study for school. Maybe once a week or twice a week I'll get time to go biking or get outside with friends. Actually, I get outside a lot but school takes up tooooo much of my time.

You think life will be easier when you're out in the working world? 😛 Having to worry about paying rent/mortgage, food, clothes all by yourself, losing your job, kids etc?
 
Heh, my last day was today, and I kinda...didn't go to half of it. Best friend and I just sort of....walked out after 4th hour. 😉 Hope I don't get busted, it didn't seem like the teachers were taking attendance.
