Sounds like you work in my office. Everyone has been there for 40 years and have a ridiculous amount of vacation to burn. Being the newish/younger guy, I get all the work and am the only guy around at this time of year. I sent out a ton of emails today - more than half sent an out of office reply. The other half just forgot to put an out office response on because they're old, disgruntled engineers and can retire tomorrow if they wanted to. This is the part of being young that blows..... D:

I work 30 days a year... but like, I have to work 9 hours each day (if you include the 3 hour break each day).

Being a standup comedian is good work if you can get it.
