I decided to ditch the 7800gt because i couldnt see myself paying $300 for a card, unless it was dx10 and hdcp compatible. I'm thinking the x850xt will last me long enough until dx10 and hdcp has matured. Also switching to x850xt cut costs on my rig by alot.

Probably the one last thing i'm comtemplating right now is the RAM. I want to have the potential to OC to 2.8ghz. I feel like the gskill wouldnt be sufficient and that i should buy the Gskill HZ ddr500 instead for $200. What do you guys think?

Go for the HZ's. You may want to see how you like the stock Opty HS (it's really nice, and works awesome for me) before you buy the 64 Pro. If you do end up needing an aftermarket HS, the 64 Pro is a good choice.

Looks like almost my config but im gunna stick with the 7800gt hoppin the price drops on the 9th.

You can just use dividers for the RAM, you don't need good RAM to overclock, and the performance increase from good RAM is uneconomical to say the least.

Looks good.
