Last Comic Standing III

OK, Last Comic Standing III is fairly weak. Truth be told, it's little more than a talent show. However, the show jumped the shark last night when they gave each team a "celebrity comic" to compete with them.

Season 1 got Louie Anderson
Season 2 got Carrot Top

Now, Louie was actually funny, but most of the show's contestants have more talent than both of them and carrot top is just a freak...

Anyone else enjoy this travesty of humor?

Well I thought the opposite. I think this 3rd season of Last Comic Standing is horrible. I'm so sick of every single comic at this point - they rushed into this season way too fast. Hearing the same comics perform every single week with pretty much the same act is too much. Last night was at least a breath of fresh air. Louie was ok, but I really thought Carrot Top was extremely funny.

Exactly. I liked Carrot Top's peephole for a blind man...

The guests were better than the contestants. My point is that when you bring Louie Anderson and Carrot Top on your show to spice it up, your show is done...

Kathleen Madigan kicked ass! I've always thought she was the best comic that just never gets a chance to perform. (plus her best material is not appropriate for NBC prime-time)

I haven't watched this since the first season. And I saw the first season when it was being replayed on comedy central. That was last summer, I just heard about the beginning of season 2 not too long ago and now they're on 3!? They're trying to hard.

I saw some of it for the first time ever at the gym yesterday, and I thought it was horrible. And I really like Louie Anderson, but seriously, he's told those exact same jokes for about 20 years.

Carrot Top is pretty darn funny in you can catch a theater show. He's got lots of dirty material that you've never heard. Granted, the 1-800 commercials are annoying, but his live show is great. There's a reason he's a millionaire.
