Just wonering if this nVidia demo is that slow for everyone... I thought I remembered it being faster, but maybe I'm thinking of the demo video I downloaded.
 
I rememberd that demo being really crap for the size of the download 🙂 1FPS .. lol it ran pretty bad on my system when i tried it 5 months ago FX5900 ... its probably something in these latest drivers thats making it run bad but anyway who cares they make the games we play run better so thats the main thing
 
It runs very slow for me too, I have wondered the exact same thing for months but never got around to posting a thread. All I could think of is that maybe it requires a 256mb card?

At least I'm not the only one.

duh, lol, didn't even think of that... that's probably why it says it requires a FX5900 Ultra =) I'm gonna go see if I can play with stuff to make it run better.
 
Ahhhh... change your AGP aperature to at least 128 in the BIOS 😀 Mine was at 64, so that must be it, the demo requires a 256MB video card to run properly. That's good to know... when games need more than 128 MB, you'll get about 1 frame per second, then it's time to look for a 256MB card 😀

So it runs better now for you?
I believe my AGP aperature is already set at 128, oh whell.....

Also Dusk Ultra runs slow if I remember correctly
 
Try it at 256... that's what mine's at, I just skipped 128 all together since I have a full GB to work with =)
