I had it and loved it. You want to research the machines and firmware with the best sucsess record ( I used the Bausch & Lomb Technolas 171A ) I am not sure about the model ' it's been a few years.

Yeah, I agree with what he said.
I had the surgery done last December, and the results are incredible.

my manager at work had it done a couple of months ago too. he did a ton of research first and found that there's always at least one person who is unhappy with the results no matter which doctor performs the procedure so eventually he had to just choose one that he liked best.

After I found the right machine , then I had to find a doctor that did it a hundred times. I found a guy that did 6000 people and had the machine I wanted, but I had to wait till his machine's firmware was updated with wavelenght technology, and then I had it done (at the tune of $1800 per eye) but it was pre-tax

I had it done in November of 2000. Been 20/20 ever since. Paid $998. Yep, sounds insane, but the place was highly recommended, and they were running a "2 for 1" special at the time. So me and a co-worker both got it done for half price.

It doesn't get rid of floaters, though.

They advertise $349 per eye around here.

I'm sold!

This was 3 years ago and I wasn't gonna go bargain hunting with my only two eyes

Ah, you have two ... have 'em do one first to see if they have their technique figured out.

:D
