Lasers in a fishtank....Good or bad?

WHen these first came out I was working in a pet store (that's how long they've been around... Like 10 years) and we set up a demo tank. Fish pretty much ignored 'em.

They don't show up very well when the room is lit. I always figured if I could get a set for $10, I would, but never saw them on clearance or anything so never did.

The claims on that page are hilarious:

# Improves the Color of Your Tropical Fish and Enhances Fin Growth!
# Increases the Life Span of Your Fish!
# Helps Reduce Bacteria and Infection by Purifying the Water!
# Increases the Incubation Rate of Eggs and Growth of Fry!
# Increases Disease Resistance!

LOL. Yea, those are doing all of that. If you believe that, I have an Eco Aqualizer to sell you to go along with it (some of our fishkeeping members might get that).

When did Bose start making lasers?

Or did Monster Cable do it? 😉

Gee they may sue me for this post.
