I heard about this in the news tha it won FDA approval with really good results. Even the investigative news sites say it really works with noticeable results.

So yeah I bought one and it should be here next week. I'll have to get a before and after picture going so I can guinea pig this bad boy over the next 3 months.

Update 3/12

Been using it for about 2 weeks religously. People have commented that my hair looks thicker. Not that new hair is growing, but the hair that was there is now thicker strands.

The hair that was there before was really fine and light colored. Now it appears darker and thicker.

Still only two weeks but I am looking forward to seeing how much the hair itself has improved over the next 8 weeks.

Update 3/20

Week 3 has come and gone. Probably the hardest part is spending 15mins every other morning combing my hair. But if it's the hardest thing I have to do than I think it is worth it.

A few weeks ago they moved my department up a floor. Yesterday, as I was walking through the parking lot on the way to my car, I ran into a coworker who remained on the 3rd floor. We started talking and all of a sudden he blurted out "man, your hair!". Now this could have been because I have been letting my hair grow out for the last few months and it had finally started to lay down on it's own but he said that he couldn't see as much scalp as he used to.

and that's exactly what I'm going for.

Update 4/2

Alright, a full month behind me and it seems to be going really well.

Things I notice after a month.

I have about 20 new hairs growing where there just to be shiney skin at very front of my scalp. And not just the blond light thin pieces of hair. These are actually my regular natural brown hair color and they are 1/4 inch long.

I also notice that I have hairs right next to eachother. Doesn't sound like a big deal but I really haven't seen my hair in groups since I can remember.

Also I can grab the top of my hair and I can really feel like I'm holding a decent amount. Just a strand I can feel now, it's thick and has weight.

I'll update again in a couple weeks. So Far I am very satisfied and am looking forward to long term results.

Update 4/30

It's been an additional 4 weeks since my last update. Not sure what to post other than I have my doubts if it's really working or not. It could be the placebo affect as prior to this I shaved my head for 4 or so years. So any hair seems new.

The little hairs I thought were new haven't really grown any further then the quarter inch or so I saw them at the first time. Now these could have been there the whole time but I just never looked that hard at my scalp to notice them.

I'm sure the comb does what it says as I see some difference, but it's nothing as miraculous as the before and after pics on the site from other users. As one poster mentioned here, it just looks like the hair got longer.

I say this now because depending on how I comb my hair I can make it look like a lot has grown, and I can also comb it so it looks like I'm really starting to go bald. It's all been a perception thing and I just seem to be doubting my past perceptions.

I'm going to finish the next 4 weeks but have a feeling I may be getting my money back at the end of this trial period.

Doesn't FDA approval just mean something won't hurt you?

Anyway, I have a really hard time believing that this actually works. Why would light make your hair grow? I did a couple google searches and looked at their site, but I couldn't find any explanation of why/how the LaserComb is supposed to work.

Think my sister was using it. She said it is fantastic. I replied, "we'll see."

The report I heard on CNN said that, while it does get some results, the additiional growth was less than that obtained through use of Rogaine/propecia.

No, FDA approval just mean the company paid off some FDA dude to give them a seal of approval. Kind of like having Window's certified drivers. It means a company paid off Microsoft.

A lot of stuff the FDA has aproved has killed many people.
FenFen? Viox? and many other drugs.

P.S
Call me when they invent a laser shaver. I'm trying of getting cutts from my blade.

yes, been using it for just over a week.

Still too early to tell if it's working, however, I noticed "fuzz" where it used to be shiney on the scalp. Now maybe it has always been there but I just never looked at the area before. But it does look like a week's worth of growth.
