laser printer spits out blank pages (brother hl-2270dw)

i just bought this printer, im happy with it except once in a while it will "print" out a blank page (maybe one in a hundred pages) so you always have to check every page of every document you print out to make sure it printed, which is irritating. anyone else esperienced dis?

Are you sure that the pages are not occasionally "sticking" together, giving the impression that a blank page has been printed. I.e. 2 pages being fed through at the same time.

Trying/using a different brand of paper may help, if that is the problem.

thats happened a couple times as well but what i was referring to here was just one page. it acts like its printing and....a blank comes out. not a big deal and otherwise a really nice printer
