Laser printer problem

I just bought a laser printer off ebay, it has a few problems....

Printouts are crooked and the tip of the paper is covered in toner

Any suggests how to fix either? I've did a full cleaning, doesn't help, replacing the drum/toner isn't cost effective.
 
Sounds like the toner cartridge is not in there straight. Have you removed and reseated the toner cartridge?
