It looks like the software just traces the green dot from the camera and paints it on the screen. Since the PJ is connected to the PC whatever the PJ is pointing at gets painted.

I can imagine this software getting loaded on a lot of laptops used in conference rooms. :evil:

I suppose a USB webcam is good enough especially inside.

I can just imagine some guy standing by his window during a late night and suddenly getting green laser in the eye.

It's 60mW at at the typical 1.5 milliradian divergence of most DPSS pointers the power density at the eyeball will be below the threshold to cause retinal damage within the blink reflex period.
