Las Vegas. What is the very best hotel?

I haven't stayed at the Venitian, but the Bellagio rooms, standard suite $350 - incredible room, Master suite on the top floors $750- haven't been in one, but, if they are any better then the standard suite it has to be amazing.

The rooms screem of opulance. You enter into a living room with a bathroom, couches, TV, table & chairs. Pust a button and the curtain opens up. Go into the bedroom and find decadence at it's best. His & Hers bathrooms with a TV in each. Her's has a tub, his has a shower (Marble) that becomes a steam sauna with the pull of a lever. The shower is sealed so well that if you close the door you can't hear the water running.

It's an amazing experience.

If moneys not a problem, almost any of the major resorts have incredible rooms. I particulary like the Paris for affordability, location and a great buffet (breakfast). However, in light of recent events, I don't do French anymore.

Now that I live here, I don't get to stay in the Hotels anymore -but- it's a great place to live. Bring on the Summer Heat!

The best hotel is BELLAGIO

The best buffet is at PARIS

The best swimming pool is at MANDALAY BAY

The best gambling area is at MGM

I stayed at both the Bellagio and Venetian last fall. Venetian's rooms are nice, but I enjoyed the Bellagio much more. The staff was always smiling and very helpful, and the hotel just exudes elegance and class.

You can search around on the web for good rates. I found a code that gave me a room at $129 a night. When I got there, I asked about upgrades, wheruepon I got one of the Bellagio Suites for ~$240 a night. Man, that was NICE. 😀

Bellagio, Venetian and Paris. In that order, IMO.

But to be honest, the strip is a rip, and is nothing like the Vegas of lore. You have to go downtown to find the old Vegas today.
