Las Vegas residents: Did Lon Kruger have surgery today?

I have been told that UNLV coach Lon Kruger had emergency by-pass surgery today. I'm very curious,because he is supposed to be the guest of honor at a charity function I am part of next week.

Has anyone heard anything about this? Nothing on the major news outlets yet...
