The first half was disappointing but then that was awesome.

Hasta su casa! Larry Larry Larry Larry Larry Larry!

But yeah, you can see the similarities from real football.

Better than shitty ass Joe Buck and his lack of enthusiasm.

That was awesome! I'm sure I would get sick of it after a while but that definitely exciting.

NO...just FUCK NO!

Those gawd-damned announcers are worse than a boring announcer who sounds like he's half asleep.

commentators are best left in their respective nations and most popular sports.

canada - hockey
usa - football
mexico - soccer

Oh I think you're talking about soccer. Sorry, we're talking about an actual sport here.

I'm kinda mixed. Its entertaining, but could get annoying. I think it'd work better in soccer where there's less big plays.

Then again, just about anything would be an improvement over the announcers doing games these days. They either lull you to sleep or won't stop talking and generally just saying stupid crap.

That was really cool to listen too, thanks for the linkage OP. But I have my doubts if it would transfer to the English speaking broadcasters and audience. Madden would have given himself a coronary trying to compete with this, and the game moves too fast. Then again, the plays that warrant the kind of awesomeness in the OP vid aren't as common.

While not football, my favorite broadcaster (of the Mariners), a Mr. Dave Niehause passed about a year ago. One of his trademarks is the "get out the rye bread and mustard grandma, it's grand salami time!" He only missed a handful of games since the inaugural Mariners game in 1977, and passed last year.
