I see alot of blaming and finger pointing...any solutions to the problem?

Stop using Fossil fuels and stop China from using CFC's.
And how do we stop China from using CFC's?
Let's take care of own place before we start pointing fingers at other....

Last I checked, we dont use CFCs.

Seriously, there is just as much reason to believe that ozone depletion is a naturally occurring phenom as to believe that our pollution is the cause. Sure, ozone depletion is bad, but there is no reason to blame ourselves when we're not completely sure as to the cause.

Shoulder the blame and get your head out of the sand. We did it, we need to fix it.

AFAIK all that needs to be done to fix it pretty much has been done(few exceptions). Now it's just a waiting game for it to be fixed.

NEXT? Let's classify ALL cars YES even pickup trucks and SUV's (including the Hummer *The only Vehicle that is not required to post the EPA Miles per Gallon Sticker on the window*)... Any car, truck or SUV that gets less then 30MPG except for commercial vehicles will get heavy taxed... So that they get taxes out of existence. The more MPG a vehicle gets the bigger incentive to buy one should be...

1) Incandescent light bulbs are still better suited to some applications than flourescent. For example, very cold environments, or places where the light will either be on for less than 20 minutes a day, or where it will be turned off and on frequently. That would be better suited for incandescent, or eventually, high brightness LEDs.

2) While I'd love to see more efficient vehicles, there's one problem there: expense. You'll still have people like college students, or low-income families that can't afford the new high-efficiency cars, and can only pay maybe $1000 for a used car. It would of course need to be a gradual phase-out.

Wow, the drugs in here are getting stronger everyday.

More coal and gas fired Generators have been fired up in the U.S. alone than ever before with emissions restrictions lifetd by Bush.

Give me a break.

They'd be a) refusing to drive any vehicle that wasn't either electric,

where do you think electricity comes from buddy?

67% of it is generated from coal, which is dirtier than gasoline. If 100 units of electricity are produced at a plant, 2/3 of it is lost in transmission. I.e. eletricity is a HIGHLY inefficient way to power vehicles.

Actually, it's been proven that it is our fault. The particulates that are known to destroy ozone migrate to cold areas and destroy the O3 in those areas.
