I connect my media center pc (HP 6177C) to my 46 inch lcd (samsung lnt4661f) but when I adjust the display to 1920x1080 it's larger than my screen...so i can't see the start menu and the bottom bar. The native display on the lcd is 1080p and in the menu system it says it's 1080p. This is using a DVI to HDMI cable.

I also tried routing it through my AV receiver (onkyo 605) and it's the same thing....anyone knows how to solve this?

yeah, does your tv have a "pc mode" or anything like that? there should be a way to adjust overscan. if you have an nvidia graphics card, you can do an "underscan" to adjust it.

nVidia - Use "Resize HDTV desktop" wizard in NVCP this will allow you to compensate (but reduce the resolution very slightly)

Make sure you didn't accidentally set the TV to Zoom or Stretch
