Larger Speaker Wire For The Klipsch 4.1?

My brother has a set of Klipsch 4.1 speakers and he wants to upgrade his speaker wires but the speakers have 1/8" Stereo Phone Plug jacks in it. Now I bought some Speaker Wire and the Solderable speaker jacks from Radio Shack but its a 3 conductor type and I dont know which prongs to solder on to. Anyone done this before?

well i did that a while ago by following some instructions off the net. just use google to search. its probably on klipschs promedia forums too. bought some 16guage wire from radio shack for not much at all, and then got some solderless plugs since i don't know how to solder these ones just use little screws instead of solder easy enough.
