Larger LCD ?

To anyone that hasn't purchased an LCD yet, over games, many are waiting for larger than 17" screens to become available. Are there any vendors that have plans to 19" or 20" screens with the same response times as the Hitachi? The sooner one of those gets released, the sooner I switch.

Err, AFAIK, Dell's 1800/1900/2000FP monitors all have great response times. No complaints of ghosting with them that I've heard.

Also I have a Planar 19" LCD, and I play DVDs and games left and right with no ghosting.

My 17" is perfect. I find it to be excellent and its Analog. I'd love to see a digital version...

I am 110% thrilled with my Dell 1900FP which I paid $600 for and it's a rebadged Samsung 191T which has a nice 3 year warranty.

If you want the best bang for your buck I'd suggest looking at the Dell 1800FP which can be had for around $382 if you wait for another super Hot Dell promo.

Maybe I haven't seen the effects of ghosting to know if it's doing it, but on my 17" Rad-7 it has a 35ms response time and I play games and DVDs without any problems.

Are there any 19" LCD's out with at least 16ms Response Times?

For those of you that are satisfied with your Planar, Dell, or Samsung models, have you seen any of the new 16ms panels?

I haven't, but I still have no ghosting... and I'm not gonna shell out another $750 to replace the one I have. 🙂
