I am using ASUS PC probe to moniter my comp. THe temp is good normall like 40 degrees C. The all of a sudden it will jusmp to like 114-115 for a couple of seconds then drop back to 40, what is wrong. I am overclocked 200 MHz.

Thanks
Josh

Could it be a result of an unconditioned powersupply, i.e. a power spike. There is no way a chip could rise that quickly in temperature unless it was going to combust (check, maybe it has :cool)) Upon thinking about it, I don't think it is a power spike issue either, but I wouldn't worry about your chip.
