Large Screen Monitors vs. Digital Televisions

I've recently purchased an ATI TV Wonder VE card from BB B&M. With my existing componants, I can now watch TV, play DVD's, play VHS's (through the ATI card) and obviously do everything else a normal computer is used for. My question is this: Do I buy a large screen monitor (29" or so), or do I invest in a digital TV? I would use this screen in place of a regular television set in a vain attempt to streamline my audio/visual experience. Any advice?

How much would a large screen monitor (29"+? they even make 'em that big???) cost? Probably tons more than a comparable 50"+ digital ready projection tv. I'd stick with a 21" monitor and getting a nice, big projection HDTV.
