large monitors not worth it?

Me personally, I like 1920x1200 over 1920x1080 but finding those 1200 monitors is damn hard now. Not even sure if anyone still makes them.
 
I've been all over the place and am back to a 23" 1080 screen, any bigger and I have to move back away from normal desktop viewing distance as it was just too close and caused eye strain after only 30 minutes of gaming (eye moving around too much trying to see all the action). Also I noticed my K/D suffering in FPS games when going "Big", and it came back up when I got my 23" screen. Hell, I bought a 23" Monitor for my 360 also and got a big improvement in K/D over gaming on a 120 hz 42" LCD. The jump from 1080 to 1440 isn't nearly impressive as the jump from 800 to 1280 was In the "square screen" days.
