I'm considering either a Thermalright XP-120 or Zalman CNPS7000B-AlCu heatsink with the Asus K8N board. From the pictures I've seen, they overhang the top edge of the board by... I can't tell how far...
So, my concern is that my power supply in my case is only 1/2" above the board edge. Is this too close to allow these heatsinks to be mounted? (this case is an Antec SX630 mini tower)
These two HSF are on my list because I want to run as silent as possible, with a Panaflo L1A fan at 5-7 volts. Maybe another HS would work in this application... What do you think?
