Large format printers????

I am looking for info on a new printer/plotter. I am looking for something that does 1440 dpi and is at least 44" wide. We have tried the Epson 10000, but it the rip that we bought with it has a bug that does not allow proper use.

Look at HP DesignJet.
At work we are using HP DesignJet, older model, like 5-6 years old. Was really expensive that time.
I am sure it prints 36" wide, maybe 42". Works fine for years on different papers.

We've got an HP2500 in storage. The image quality is pretty good, but the HP's are unbearably slow. I have been looking at the Roland, but I don't know of anyone that has actually used one.
