Large File Transfer Problems

I was checking out this post regarding file transfer problems, I am also having file transfer problems with my Win7 64bit system. I'm installing an HGST 4TB Coolspin HD and I could not copy a 12GB AVI video file from a WD RE4 to the HGST drive. The transfer speed gradually slowed to a crawl and stopped. The same 12GB AVI file was copied from the RE4 to a Samsung HD204UI 2TB HD without issue.

I have to assume that the HGST Coolspin has a problem with large files. I'm going to install Teracopy and see it that helps the problem, other than that, I'd be interested in other opinions or insight.
 
What does the SMART data say about the HGST ? (Use something like crystaldiskinfo to view)
It is possible it is a cable issue, but, we will know more when you post the screenshot of the SMART data.

I've contacted HGST about it, I'm going to try a few things and see what happens, but only this drive has that particular large file transfer problem(maybe the other HGST 4TB I have does too, I haven't checked).

I'll get back on it tomorrow, I'm HD'ed out.
