laptops with small ssd: Do they use SRT?

Do laptops that ships with 1 Tb hdd + like 32mb ssd use the ssd with intel SRT?

Is it configured correctly out of the box? (I've read that this is not always the case).

I'm looking at a HP ENVY dv6, the exact model number seems to be country specific so I can't find any reviews.

It may vary with the vendor, but I believe this is true. I've read about people disabling SRT so that they can upgrade the small mSATA SSD (usually 32GB) in favor of higher capacity. Unfortunately sometimes the BIOS is locked so you can't set it as a boot device. My Dell Vostro 3360 is like that. I run Crucial M4 256GB in both the 2.5"x7mm drive bay as well as mSATA so no big deal, but can be an issue for those wanting to use the original HDD while booting off mSATA SSD.
