Laptops with fast video cards?

A few friends of mine insist that there is a way to get a laptop rigged with fast video card through a docking station. I have never seen this, but am interested. Who sells them; and what laptops are they compatible with. Do they work with agp cards? Any experience and knowledge would be useful. Thanks!

Some GeForce Mobile options will be available soon, which should provide most gaming junkies enough graphics power to be acceptable, but they are not yet available, and I haven't heard of any actually being 'officially' announced. I'm sure we'll find out very quickly in these forums as soon as one is available!
