I'm a sales specialist at circuit city..

Customer: "Wow, Windows Vista looks so different.. and that snowy background is cool."

Me: "Uh... crap".


And another story from yesterday..

Customer: "I'm looking for the cheapest laptop I can buy.. around $400.. I want to play Farcry and Doom 3 on it... Like this one right here.."

Me: "Uh.. that laptop has a Celeron processor clocked at about 700mhz, 500mb of kingston value ram and an Intel integrated graphics card."

Customer: "As long as it's cheap"

Me: "Right......"

Customer: "What do you mean it wont play those games.. It's a NEW computer.. Windows Vista is faster.. it has Gigabytes!"

Me: ".........."

Yeah, it ended up being a live cd I think. I didn't have time to mess with it. About an hour later I was back by it and windows was loaded. Unless somebody ran the restore disk while I was at lunch.
