Laptop Wont Load Desktop

I have a Tobisha Satellite 1415-S173 with win xp home. When i turn on the laptop it shows the toshiba screen, windows xp home screen then about 20minutes at the windows is now starting blue screen and it loads my desktop, then i get the ntsystem/authority will shut down this system in 00:59 message. If i boot into safe mode and go in as admin it loads the desktop but with no startbar loads then all of a sudden i see for a split second system faliure and it shuts down and turns itself back on. Is there anyway to save this without formatting??? Thanks

1st, to fix your taskbar problem, download the free version of Taskbar Repair Tool Plus. By simply using the free part of the program, it will fix your missing taskbar problem. As for your other problems...you might not have to reformat your HD, you can insert your WinXP disc and let it do a Windows rescue/fix function.
