Laptop wont even post

I have an old Dell Latitude CPi P3 notebook (it may be old but it gets the job done). The other day I was walking out of class and had it in my backpack when the strap on my backpack came lose and fell off me onto the ground, now the notebook will not boot up, I cant even get it to post and I get no beeps. All that happens when I turn it on is the power light will start slowly blinking. Obviously something is broken due to the fall but I dont know what. Is there something that if broken will cause a problem like this or could it easily be either the ram, cpu or mobo? If its something that can easily be replaced like ram, hard drive or even the cpu Ill try and replace it because this laptop was great for simple things like internet and word processing. I know this is probably a long shot because that fall most likely killed it, but I would like to get it fixed if its something small/cheap. Thanks.

Have you checked to make sure everything was still connected OK? I would try reseating the RAM, HDD, and CPU if it is socketed.

From memory the flashing power light usually indicates a faulty motherboard/cpu. If you search Dell's website it should give you the error codes for the LED's which blink at startup
