laptop with these specs

i need a laptop with thsi specs: with dvd drive,video out and serial output. so far i found only sony viao pcg and fx model, maybe if you could help me some other brand so i could compare, thanks

I'd imagine that a lot a laptops meet these specifications. My aging Thinkpad T20 has a DVD-ROM, s-video out, and serial port, and most of the new T-series models are configured the same way.

The Dell Inspiron 8200 also seems to have everything that you're looking for as well.

In case nayone needs confirmation that it does, I just checked mine(I've only had it for a day 😛) and it does have a serial port on it.

Nope, just the inspiron 8200. I'd think that IBM would have all the information about it on their site though.

I don't know if he does, but I've got an A-Series ThinkPad and it's got S-Video In and Out, DVD Drive, and a Seriel Port. Look through the specs on IBM's other ThinkPads, they're easy to sort through.
