laptop with i7 and ati 5650

hi all.
im going to buy a new laptop dell inspiron with i7 ;an ati 5650 card and 6 gb RAM DDR3

my question is; is it good for games thx

It's okay. I had one and I was not happy with it's performance. If you want a decent gaming laptop it needs to be a 5850 minimum. For nvidia gtx 260, 360, and 460 all good gpu's.

If games are your only goal, get a better GPU. The HD 5650 isn't bad for mid-range, but it definitely won't do more than medium / low quality in most modern games, depending on resolution. For 1366x768 it's probably ok for most games at medium settings, but above that you're going to have to play with graphics settings to get a good balance.
