Laptop Wireless Card QUES

What the difference between a wireless notebook card
Interface: PCMCIA and
Interface: 32bit CardBus Type II
Interface: 32bit CardBus

will they all work on a regular laptop?
And if not to much of a problem can u guys reccomend me one for my sis

All those interphases are the same for the most part, PCMCIA is what cardbus used to be called in the 16bit days (its still some times used today) type 2 is just the hight of the slot used and 32bit cardbus is just the standard (eg like a PCI slot for a normal pc)

pcmcia=16 bit
cardbus=32 bit

usually :)

unless its an old notebook that only takes 16 bit pcmcia (<2000) get the cardbus.

Linksys and DLink is a good place to start looking of wireless PCMCIA or cardbus cards.

I'm sorry, I DID NOT KNOW YOU ARE GOD OF NETWORKING! enuf said. Sure Senao is the god of long range wireless but range it's not everything in wireless. In fact, I reduce my router output to 50% to minimize stray signal thus wardriver's from accessing my network.
