Laptop: Whats the performance equivalent for the new Intel x4500 IGP?

Think i'll be able to run CS:S at 1280x800 with a 2.53ghz C2D with this IGP?

The fastest IGP available is barely on-par with 9800 PRO in *some* benchmarks:

Actually, 50FPS is possible. Just turn down the detail and everything to super low if possible.

If you want a laptop that comes with a graphics card, I suggest you take a look at Acer and ASUS $1000 notebook offerings. The Acer 6920 series usually comes with a NVIDIA 9500M GS. I believe the new ASUS M50/M51 series come with a 9500M GS or a 9600M GS. You'd have to check that.

The 9500M GS is essentially a 8600M GT.

Good Lord! You do realize we are talking about I-N-T-E-G-R-A-T-E-D graphics with shared memory, no?

Keep in mind that mobile IGP implementations tend to be a full 10+% slower than their desktop equivalents.
