Laptop video problem?

if i minimize a game i get my desktop in shreds going horizontally i cant read nothing. but if i push the start button on my keyboard the start menu come up clear like normal and then fixes were it poped up. then i needed to drag a window around the desktop to make the vertical lines disappear what?s causing this?

I've had that happen before, even on a desktop. I think it may be due to switching from direct3d back to the desktop without actually shutting the game down. Same thing can happen if the game crashes. Unless you have stability issues or whatever I wouldn't be worried about it.

I know one game would make the desktop go to strange colors when it was running. I had dual monitors set up so the one always had the desktop up on it. Almost entertaining to see what different games did to the desktop 😛

ya, some times it does it some times it does not do that but when it does its really slow.
