Laptop Video Card Upgrade

I have a HP Pavilion zd8000 laptop. Link to HP support for zd8000
Manufacturer:
HP
Processor:
P4 630 3.0GHz
Memory:
1.0 Gig 533MHz
Hard Drive:
80 Gig 5400RPM
Video Card:
ATI X600 256mb
Operating System:
Windows XP Pro. Service Pack 2

It has a dedicated card, and I was told by the people at HP when I bought it that it was removable, however I am wondering if this is the case. I am interested in upgrading if I can. My question is are there different "sockets" for MoBo Video cards? Am I going to run into power problems if I upgrade to a new card? Is it even worth it? My last question, I already kinda saw a post on it, any idea where to get a new card? Thanks for your time guys.

First, HP has to have the BIOS support a new card. 2nd, they have to have released a card for the ZD8000 that was better than the X600.
