I walked in the door after work today at about 4:30. My girlfriend (who remains unemployed) starts in on the whole "You gotta get in there and clean that up, it's embarassing" trip. I guess my grandma came over to visit for the first time and wasn't too impressed with our hobby room.
So I got this laptop about two or three months ago and now I just sit in the living room and do my work. I don't get much time to game anymore so I don't spend a lot of time at my desk.
This is where I usually spend my time on the internet and doing school work and such.
This, this, and this is what happened to my side of the room. My girlfriend wasn't much better about it, but at least all of her shtuff is crammed neatly onto a wall.
After all was said and done I finished a lot of things. Moved the printer over to the file cabinet and put a 17" monitor on the stand as a secondary. Rerouted some cables and also got my TV card hooked up. Unfortunately I still had this mess left over.
Sorry for some not-so-great pics. The window in that room really messed with the light. I'll take some after pics later tonight and update. For now I got called into a work emergency, so here I sit.
EDIT: Ohh yeh feel free to make fun of my ghetto desk. It was free and does the job. 21"s of CRT takes up a lot of space!
