laptop temps

So earlier today I picked up a Lenovo Z565 laptop from Bestbuy for $449.99. It has the Phenom II X2 N660 (3Ghz, Dual Core), 3GB of RAM (soon to be 4), 320GB HDD, 15.6" Screen, Radeon 4270 graphics. Alright so did a little testing. First of all, the laptop itself is great. It has great fit an finish, material quality. It feels like a solid, quality product. It is also fast, really speedy and responsive, even with only 3GB of RAM. Now, the one concern I have is temps.

Without a cooling pad (which granted, I will be using most of the time anyway), temps seem a little high. Under load the CPU gets up to about 76 degrees, and the HDD is about 47. Those just seem a little high to me. Are these in the danger zone, or are they still safe?

Those are pretty average temperatures all around. Perhaps a little on the high side considering the GPU performance bracket, but nothing to worry about. I would not worry overmuch unless you experience significant heat creeping into the palmrest or an overactive fan. Those temperatures are completely safe for the hardware however.
