I am looking to buy a laptop at the beginning of the summer, so probably around may/june. I have never owned one before, so I am looking for some suggestions. I would love to spend no more than 1000, but could go as high as 1200 if needed. I am looking for one that would also run linux fairly easily. It does not need to be the latest and the greatest, but I would like to play an occasional game on it, so maybe at least a G4go for the graphics card, and the ability to put at least 512 megs of ram in it.
