laptop sata external drive case that doesn't need a external power supply

Both are the same that were linked, I've had bad luck with Bytecc cases. And from the reviews on Newegg it doesn't come with an external power so you can't use the e-sata without getting one first. I've also had mixed luck with 2.5" drives and no power, some will work, some take 2 usb ports to get them to work.
