In need of a new laptop, looking for something super light and thin - reasonable screen size. The sky is the limit as far as budget goes. Can anyone provide me with a pointer toward the path to heaven?

I saw some really fast Alienware laptops advertised in MaximumPC; some of those things are incredible performance demons. But you're going to need that "sky's the limit" budget to get them.🙂

Here ya go.. Switch to a 3.06GHz proc, 1GB RAM, and an extra battery, all for $3828. That'd be an awesome laptop. 😀

What are you planning on using it for? The new XP tablet systems are out, I have a Toshiba Portege 3500 tablet on order. The Toshiba converts from a 'normal' laptop to a tablet (and back). You might want to take a peak at those if the tablets strike your fancy...
