Laptop recommendation

Hi guys,

First post here.
I'm thinking of buying a new laptop to replace my old asus, I'm leaning between these:

• Clevo P670SG, 170 may be ok also
• Gigabyte P37X
• Others

I'd like a laptop with either 970m or 980m, thin and with a decent battery life.
I ruled out GS60 because my research tells me that it gets very hot and depletes battery life/hw.

I also ruled out Clevo P7xx series because batter life should be very bad due to the desktop cpu, and it seems too bulky.

Problem is, I haven't seen any reviews on either the P37X/P37W or the Clevo P670.

1. Games would be stuff like crysis 3, assassin's creed unity, etc I also want an 970/980m because I know it will be a little more future-proof (eg GTA V when it comes out for pc)

As for software I'm also a programmer, although I don't use the GPU for programming I need a decent i7 and lots of ram (any laptop can handle this)

2. I think 17' is better because when programming I like to have a big screen, specially because I don't use external monitors alot. I currently have an asus n61jq (16') and the 15' laptops seem a little small now, altough I'm OK with 15 if it's a great laptop (still waiting for reviews on the gigabyte p35x cf4) - I'm just a little weary on the 3K/4K because windows and linux apps are still not that great with these resolutions.

My N61JQ is 38.4 x 26.5 x 2.78 ~3.91 cm (WxDxH) and weighs 2.91 kg - the weight is not bad but something slimmer would be great.

A good option is the P650SE now selling for $1200 (link)

970M, IPS, I7 - $1200 including shipping ($150 less compared to the usual price or $100 for cash). No OS though.

You can get the 980M option too with the 10% off, but 970M is enough

disadvantage - the GPU is not replaceable, but by the time you'd want to replace, I'm not sure the price difference will worth it

Well, I do know that you can get the N551JM for a reasonable price. What are some good Clevo resellers in Portugal?

We have a couple, but one has a bad rep, and the other doesn't have the P650/670 with the 970/980m

GTX 860M won't be enough? the N551JM has an excellent display
