hey all,

I have a pent 3 800 and it is a few years old and acting up a bit so I am considering just giving it to my daughter and replacing it with a laptop for myself. The one main reason I had not done this yet was because I love my ergo split keyboard, I know I could plug one into a laptop but I wondered do any of the makers have an option for some sort of a split keyboard?

I remember a few years back seeing a samsung that did have this raised split type keyboard and I know alot of people do use split keyboards so I was hoping to get a bit of info as to if anyone makes one these days (or if someone has read about future soon to make plans) with an option of a split keyboard to help my wrists out a bit (big guy big hands).

Lastly where is the best place to get the most bang for your buck? I been looking at the toshibas & online at dells options alot, anyone got feedback good or bad on those or anything else model wise I should be looking at (or staying away from) in the 1200-1800 price range?

The main things I want on it are 512 ram, dvd-r burner, at least 15 inch screen and wirelessG built in, and something that isn't gonna break or fall apart easily...

Thanks

Bill :)
