configuring a ibm laptop online and i have one question -> are there any benefits with the cisco setup? will the cisco setup eat up significantly more battery? price isn't in the equation for this particular question, i just want to get the best setup for the laptop.

or should i just say f^ck it, and go with a "a/b/g" pc card and an "a" access point?

thanks in advance

Get the a/b/g card and don't get an "a" access point, those are a little old, unless you just need it for surfing the web. I'd go for one that is integrated so you don't have a card sticking out if its an option, but thats not necessary either.

are there many problems with b, g since it is still in 2.4GHz with all the portable phones? i was going thinking of a because it wouldn't be around all the portable phones.....?
