Hi, anybody know where can I find the Processor speed chart for comparing between Laptop Intel Processor Speed & PC Desktop Speed IntelProcessor. I am trying to find how fast is notebook duo core 1.66 processor speed comparing to PC desktop PC speed. Any advice is appreciated...

Every desktop CPU is entirely different. If its just CPU speed, it is easy enough to explain.

If you're talking the entire platform, that is entirely different. I would start by browsing the Pentium M & Core Duo articles under the CPU section of Anandtech, there he has lots of comparisons between Dothan & Yonah against other desktop CPUs.

No oneis dual core the other is single core. A better comparison would be to compare a Core duo 1.66mhz to a Pentium D 820 as both are entry level dual core cpu's. I would say it would be pretty close. Clock for clock the Core Duo is roughly equal in performance to an AMD x2 chip. A 2ghz Duo is roughly equal in perforance to an AMD 3800x2 2ghz.
