Laptop Processor Question

Hey all,

I don't know alot about laptop processors and was wondering about the performance of laptop processors. Specifically the P7350. This processor is listed as "Intel® Centrino® 2 processor technology with interrelated Intel® Core?2 Duo processor P7350" on the Best buy website. I'm confused, is this a Centrino 2 or a Core 2 Duo?

Also, if this is a Centrino 2 should I stay away from it? I know the old Centrino processors of the past didn't have the best reputation for performance.

Secondly, comparing it to a T6600 processor I think I read that the P series is more power efficient than the T series correct?

Would the P7350 with 2GHz, 1066 MHz, 3MB L2 Cache preform better than the T6600 with 2.2GHz, 800MHz Bus, 2MB L2 Cache?

Thanks,
Vyx

centrino2 is what intel calls the whole platform. it's a core2 duo+GM4x IGP+some AGN wireless controller.

The P7350 is a 45nm wolfdale while the T6600 is a merom core. The 7350 will be faster and more power efficient than the t6600 despite the lower frequency because of some architectural refinements intel included with 45nm.
