Laptop problems

When my laptop screen moves when the computer is on the screen will flicker on and off then the keyboard will stop working. I have to shut the computer down and restart to have the screen work again.

I am going to open it up tomorrow and make sure that the cable linked to the monitor to see if it is just loose.

If you can think of anything that it could be besides that let me know.
I am open to any suggestions.

Definitely loose connection. I have also seen the constituent wires come lose from the connector so you might want to check that.

Good luck!

Sounds like a connection is loose or getting squished. If that doesn't solve it, then the next thing could be the inverter going bad or the backlight in the LCD going out.

I open it up and found that the keyboard ribbon cable was loose like everyone was saying. I turned the comp back on and it worked perfectly.

I did not touch anything else! (such as other connections.)

I screwed the keyboard back on and turned it on and it still worked.

I screwed the back of the laptop on and tried to turned it back on and it did not even turn on but it was still getting power.
I did not use the battery all the time I was working on it and only used the power cable to make sure that it was not the battery that was messing with something.

can anyone think of what the problem is now?

Thank you
Uncle T
