Laptop powers off every 30 minutes

Hello,

So I have this laptop that just hard powers off every 30 mins and it's pissing me off!!!

It just started recently. The laptop doesn't feel hot at all so I don't *think* it's thermal? Like the laptop feels totally cool. I don't see anything in event viewer either. I tried booting normally into Win 7, safe mode etc. Still hard powers off

I even tried to boot it to the boot menu before Windows loads and left it there and even there it shuts off so does that mean it's probably not OS related? Would appreciate any help guys.
 
Check your power settings. They exist in the OS and also in a laptop's own tools.
 
I would contact Acer tech support. Sounds like a hardware problem now.
