The notebook came with a 65W PS but I was on the Lenovo website and they have a 90W PS for my machine. Of course the 90W costs more. My question is, will the more powerful PS make my computer faster? If it does, will it be significant or negligible? It is an Intel Core 2 Duo with 4 GB of RAM.
 
No more power doesn't equal more speed. The power needs of your laptop are going to be less then 65W so even if you got the larger Power block it would still be pulling less then 65W.
