Hi.. need some advice from the pros here.. i want to ask abt what steps to take, what softwares needed, what rights to give when:
a person issused a laptop after changing from a desktop in office.. he/she is allow to bring it home for usage/business
such as logon rights. if the person is to work off site is he able to plug in thumbdrive, harddisk.
what policies are needed.. Not IT policies like stolen laptops or viruses but aiming on the user of the laptop. Prevention of user to obtain certain infomation from the laptop before they quit the job
i've understand tt there's Group policy to restrict removable disk...
i'd like to know more abt data encryption on the laptop
