This sounds really dumb :\ But a kid came over so I let him play on my laptop. We where drinking pepsi while watching tv and playing, when his spilled on keyboard. I've tried getting in between the keys with rubbing alcohol then drying it up with tissue but its not good enough. I have an Acer Aspire 5734Z-4958.

Manual doesn't really help, neither does the support website. Is there a way I can take off keys,clean, and then put back on. I can't really buy stuff because I have to keep this a secret from my parents :sneaky:
 
you buy a new keyboard for $13 and replace it. you cant clean syrup out of keyboards.

only chance you might have is take out the keyboard and put it through a dishwasher cycle. i wouldnt hold my breath though
 
Clean the house, do your homework and pray... maybe your parents will let you work-off the repair bill around the house.
